Italian Journalistic Language — Linguaggio Giornalistico·News Lead Structure (5W+H)
💡

Rule reminder

The Italian news lead (primo capoverso) answers: Chi (who), Cosa (what), Quando (when), Dove (where), Perché (why), Come (how). The most important information comes first. The inverted pyramid structure means the lead contains the entire story essence — subsequent paragraphs add detail. Italian leads tend to be longer and more syntactically complex than English ones.

What does 'come' (how) correspond to here?
