Rule reminder

Si passivante replaces the passive voice: Si vendono case = Le case vengono vendute. The verb agrees with the noun object. Si impersonale expresses an unspecified subject (one/people/you in general): Si mangia bene qui. The verb is always singular (no noun object follows). Key test: if you can replace 'si + verb' with 'viene/vengono + past participle', it is si passivante.
