Rule reminder

'Risulta che' (it emerges/appears that) + indicative — states a fact derived from evidence. 'Si evince che' (it can be inferred that) + indicative — used in analytical/academic language. 'Si presuppone che' (it is assumed/presupposed that) + congiuntivo — expresses an assumption not yet confirmed. 'Si deduce che' (it can be deduced that) + indicative. 'Si ritiene che' (it is believed that) + congiuntivo (opinion, not confirmed fact).
