Advanced Subjunctive — Congiuntivo Avanzato·Error Detection: Indicative vs Subjunctive
💡

Rule reminder

At B2 level, you must recognise when indicativo is used incorrectly in place of congiuntivo. Triggers requiring congiuntivo include: verbs of wanting/wishing, doubting, fearing, emotion, impersonal expressions, certain conjunctions (benché, affinché, sebbene, a condizione che, nel caso in cui). Using indicativo where congiuntivo is required is a significant grammatical error.
