Rule reminder
Master review: Si impersonale (general 'one/people') vs si passivante (passive). Ci si for reflexives. Compound tenses: essere + invariable participle (impersonale) or essere + agreeing participle (passivante). Adjectives: always masculine plural after si impersonale + copular verbs.
A teacher writes this on the board: 'In Italia si mangia la pasta.' A student says: 'Shouldn't it be si mangiano?' Who is right?
