Rule reminder

'Piacere' uses ESSERE in compound tenses. Subject is what pleases (usually a thing), so participle agrees with it: è piaciuto (m.sg.), è piaciuta (f.sg.), sono piaciuti (m.pl.), sono piaciute (f.pl.). In subjunctive: sia piaciuto/a, siano piaciuti/e.
