Rule reminder

FA CALDO / FA FREDDO = the weather/temperature outside (impersonal: fa + adjective). HO CALDO / HO FREDDO = I feel hot/cold (personal sensation: avere + adjective). Key: fa caldo describes the weather; ho caldo describes how a person feels. Similarly: ho sete (I'm thirsty) vs fa caldo (it's hot weather).
