Rule reminder
Gli (to him) and le (to her) both become glie- and write as one word with the direct pronoun: glielo, gliela, glieli, gliele, gliene.
Il nonno vuole degli occhiali nuovi. I nipoti ___ hanno regalati per il compleanno. (They gave them to him as a birthday gift — gli occhiali)
