💡

Rule reminder

After a comparative expression, use 'di quanto + subjunctive' (formal/literary) or 'di quel che + indicative' (common/spoken) to introduce a clause. Both mean 'than'. 'Di quanto non + subjunctive' (with pleonastic 'non') is also accepted in formal Italian.
