Rule reminder
Each concessive connective has specific grammatical requirements: 'sebbene', 'benché', 'quantunque', 'per quanto', 'nonostante che' → always + subjunctive. 'Nonostante', 'malgrado' (as prepositions) → followed by noun/pronoun, not a verb. 'Anche se' → indicative (real) or subjunctive (hypothetical). 'Pur' → followed only by a gerund. Mixing these patterns creates grammatical errors.
