Rule reminder
Advanced passive choice requires understanding nuance: (1) 'È fatto' = it's done/it is in a done state; (2) 'Viene fatto' = it gets done, it is done regularly; (3) 'Va fatto' = it must be done. In literary/historical Italian, 'venne fatto' = it was done (past event). In compound tenses, ONLY 'essere + pp' can be used. 'Andare + pp' compound tenses do NOT exist for the obligation meaning.
'Queste decisioni non ___ prese alla leggera.' (must not be taken — strong formal advice/rule) Best?
